Salvi Vivai at the Agrialp (Bolzano, 4-7 November 2011)

Salvi Vivai, on November 4th – 7th 2011, will participate at Agrialp, the international fair in Bolzano that is an important reference point for Alps agriculture but also attraction for visitors from not mountainous areas. It is a “four days” during which products and services will be widely offered, an important opportunity for Salvi Vivai to confirm its own offer of apple-trees and strawberry plants.

At Agrialp Salvi Vivai will propose Sweet Resistant® apples, variety resistant to scab and at same time sweet respecting present and high level market needs. Fujion*, with an intense red colour and well-defined stripes over almost the entire surface, a crispy juicy and intensely sweet flesh that makes Fujion a new successful variety. Smeralda* has a uniform green colour skin and a yellow flesh, fine, juicy and pleasant with high sugar content beside an elevated acidity. Renoir* has a yellowish-green ground colour of the skin combined with a yellow firm and juicy flesh, characterized by a very intense and sweet aroma. Gemini*, a big size fruit with a uniform brilliant ruby red blush colour and a creamy and fresh pulp. Last but not least, Gaia* with striped red overcolour and a creamy pulp, fine, very sweet and a very intense aroma. The new Isaac*, with an intense red skin and a not too big size, slightly acid with an excellent taste.

Strawberry plants will also be protagonists at the exhibition. First of all Clery*, characterized by intense smell  and aroma, perfect  mixture of taste, productivity and commercial features confirming the high value of this variety for Salvi Vivai. The delicious Joly* that is the reference point for the future thanks to the excellent quality, the intense aroma and the very sweet taste; Capri*, Ischia*, Linosa* and the new Zafir*, everbearer varieties obtained by the breeding programs of C.I.V. (Centro Innovazione Varietale®). Moreover Rania* and Nabila* will be also presented as varieties suitable for Mediterranean climates characterized by sweetness and excellent aroma.
